I had good luck with a 5 day fast last fall. I had been experiencing gall bladder pain and decided to give it a try. I drank only water and liquid Body Balance. The first day was the hardest-that urge to eat was tough. The second thru fifth days really weren't too bad. I was sluggish on the third day, mild headache too. It made a big difference for me mentally and physically. A good rule of thumb is to consume a large amount of water: here is the calculation:
Your body weight in pounds X .7 = ounces of water per day you should consume. For example, if you weigh:
150 pounds X .7 = 105 ounces of water per day MINIMUM! More is better! You must supplement your fluids with a liquid nutient rich product-I used Body Balance because it is a great all around product.
