Profile:
Dr. Wendy Noffke received her chiropractic education at Life West Chiropractic College in Hayward, California; completing her doctor of chiropractic degree in 1999. She received her Advanced Proficiency rating in the Activator Methods Chiropractic Technique in 1999 as well. Prior to her chiropractic education, she received a B.S. Degree in Microbiology from the University of Washington. Along with her education in natural health, she has also been certified by the American Council on Exercise since 1992 in leading group fitness, and also has a yoga teaching certification. Dr. Wendy Noffke aims to helps patients meet their health goals through a gentle holistic approach using chiropractic, nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle changes to address current health issues and work at preventing future health concerns. She believes every patient deserves a personalized care plan unique to their personal situation, with respect given to their belief systems at well. She embraces the opportunity to work with other health care providers in caring for a patient, and is also able to give referrals as needed. This office has a wide variety of opportunities for patients to expand their own education on natural health with natural health classes and regular guest speakers providing information on ways to be healthy. Regular yoga classes and pilates-style core body classes are also held in this office. Success Stories: (patient names omitted to protect privacy) 1. A male age 44 presented with chronic shoulder pain, decreased mobility and strength, digestive disturbances, and chronic skin irritation and fungal infections. He was treated with chiropractic adjustments for the spine and shoulder, as well as exercises & stretches supporting the area. He also modified his diet along with nutritional supplementation. His shoulder pain has decreased and range of motion is greatly increased with better strength. His digestive complaints and skin complaints are also drastically reduced with dietary improvements. 2. A female in her late 20's presented with pain over her right sacroiliac region. She is an active female training regularly for biathalons. With a short period of chiropractic adjusting along with stretches and exercises to prevent further irritation to the area her pain has resolved. Additional complaints of foot and knee pain during training have also resolved with spinal and extremity adjustments. She is able to continue her training program as well. 3. A female school teacher in her early 20's presented with regular low back pain, pain between her shoulder blades, and chronic headaches. Her headaches and pain have resolved with a chiropractic adjustments and education on ways to improve her posture at her workplace as well as stretches to help her relax and relieve muscle tension at the end of her day.
