Lower back and leg pain is a common disease. The suffer rate is over 60% in clinical patients of osteology. There are several methods to treat this disease in clinic, they are all unsuccessful. In order to find an effective treatment, we employed MF-TDP bio-spectrum LAMP irradiation therapy and conducted a clinical survey. Satisfactory results were obtained. The report follows

CLINICAL INFORMATION

1. General Information: Of the fifty-four patients, thirty-six were male and eighteen were female. The youngest patient was ten years old and the oldest was sixty-five years old. Those between twenty-one and fifty constituted 87% of all cases. The shortest duration (of the symptoms) was three days and the longest duration was twenty years. The duration (of the symptoms) was 1-3 weeks in forty cases.

2. Source: Forty-one had Lumbar and buttock segmental musculotendinous syndrome (segmental instability). Eleven had acute lumbar injury. One had Herniated nucleus pulposus. One had compression fractures of the fourth vertebral body.

3. Symptoms and signs: There were twenty-seven patients who had lower back pain. Forty-one were segmental instability cases. Fourteen of them suffered lower back pain along with same side numb leg. They all had some trouble bending their back forwards and hyperexetend backward. Thirty-six found compress pain points and musculotendinous touch pain. Twenty-five patients had leg raising test positive. Eleven patients mentioned the definite lumbar lesion history. There were knowable compress pain point on lower back, sacrum muscle and lumbar motion limit.

4. Method: Model CQ-22 of MF-TDP LAMP--the special electromagnetic therapeutic apparatus, made in Chong Qing, China. The irradiation focused on the region of the touching pain point. The irradiation distance is adjusted to the degree that patient felt comfortable. Each treatment lasted 40 to 50 minutes and One or two treatment a day. Stop any other treatment during MF-TDP LAMP therapy course.

5. Result:
(1) Standard:

Cured.

Symptom and signs disappeared; motion function become normal.

Improved:

Symptom and signs reduced, Motion function is improved.

No avail:

After seven times treatment, the symptom and signs remained.

(2) Result: Total patients were 54. Of them 39 were cured. The cured rate was 72.2%. Of 12 cases were improved, the rate was 22.2%; Of 3 cases remained no avail. The final effective rate was 94.4%.

CASES

Case 1: A 47 year-old female was suffering lower back and leg pain for one year. The pain gradually became worse in the last month before she went to our department. No soft tissue injury history. In the current month the pain had increased as back flexion progresses and when walks. the patient mentioned some claudication and right leg numbness. Drug management is unsuccessful. Right leg raising test was positive(at angle 40 degree). X-ray showed lumbar vertebra spur. Diagnosis was right syndrome. MF-TDP LAMP irradiation was utilized instead of drug management. The irradiation was twice a day, 40 minutes for each time. after 3 days treatments, lower back pain decreased. the patient still felt numb. Right leg raising test turned negative. after 6 days irradiation, the symptoms released. the patient walked as normal.

Case 2: A 33 year-old man had lower back pain for ten years. It was worse in ten days. Drug management was unsuccessful. Examination: When hyperexetend backward, the hyperextension syndrome became apparent and back bend forward was limited. The pain became severe when practice physical exercise. The patient could not lye on bed. There were three been size mass be touched and sink was congestion. Pressing mass hard, the pain extended to leg. Diagnosis: Lumbo fascia syndrome. MF-TDP LAMP irradiation therapy applied once a day, 40 minutes for each treatment. After three times of treatments, His lower back pain released. The mass size reduced, sink congestion released. After fourth irradiation, the pain released, mass was untouched and a test of the lower back region was negative. The patient's lumbar motion became normal.

Discussion

The lower back and leg pain is a common diseases. There is no clear knowledge about its reason. Generally, there are about two types of reasons: Bone degeneration and soft tissue degeneration. For our medical practice, we used to apply inject, far red lamp irradiation, short wave and vibration treatments. But the results are not as effective as we hope. MF-TDP LAMP has proved successful to treat those kind diseases. MF-TDP LAMP can decrease inflammation, release the pain and increase body immune function.
