What about the hazards of high blood pressure? 

Liu: If the systolic pressure of a person equals to or is higher than 
140mmHg, or the diastolic pressure equals to or is higher than 90mmHg,
it is called hypertension. High blood pressure does great harm to 
people's health. It can affect people's heart, cerebral vessels, kidney, 
blood vessels and the retina, resulting in coronary heart disease, 
cardiovascular and cerebral diseases. Therefore, the aim 
of treating hypertension includes not only lowering blood pressure 
but also reducing the proportion of cardiovascular and cerebral diseases 
and the death rate caused by them. 

What causes blood pressure to rise? 

Liu: The causes include age, abnormal blood fat, obesity, smoking, drinking 
liquor, heredity and a lack of  exercise. 

How can people treat hypertension? 

Liu: Hypertension can be treated with drugs or without drugs. Since various 
medicines have side effects, we suggest that people use small doses of medicine. 
To reduce side effects, we advocate that people treat high blood pressure 
without drugs. For instance, they can change their eating habits by reducing 
their consumption of salt and fat and eat food that have more potassium, calcium 
and protein. They should also control their liquor consumption, quit smoking, 
exercise more and seek relief from stressful situations. 
For therapy without drugs, the blood pressure depressors have been praised by

BPR Instruction of use: 

Note: This instrument is absolutely safe for any people, it

1.Put two AAA battery in side the instrument

2.Clean fingers, ears with water or alcohol

3. put the ear clips on both ears. the yellow metal electrodes 
towards the back of the ears. Insert plug into socket of the 
handhold instrument.



4. Turn on the power switch. When the green and yellow light blink
it works fine.

5. Hold the instrument by one hand. Touching the three electrodes 
on the instrument with second, third and fourth finger.



6. set the P/C/SE ( pulse, complex and static electricity three 
work patterns)switch according to different degree of hypertension.

A. First degree hypertension,
   P/C/SE switch set to C, twice treatment a day ( 15 Minutes once)
   After 7 days, you will find your bllod pressuer drop to certain
   degree, then keep using it once a day for 10 minutes to keep
   blood pressure at low. If you take blood pressure reduce medicine, 
   try to reduce your medicine gradually to see if you can use BPR 
   only to keep your blood pressure in normal range. 
   For many people, the answer is yes! if not, using both to keep
   your blood pressure at normal range( you will find you need less
   medicine because the use of BPR)  

B. Second degree hypertension,
   Using BPR twice a day, 25 minutes a course
   SEt to P for 5 minutes, then C for 10 minutes then SE for
   10 minutes. After 14 days, you will find your bllod pressuer 
   drop to certain  degree, then keep using it once a day set to
   C  for 10 minutes to keep  blood pressure at low. If you take 
   medicine, try to reduce your medicine ( reduce blood pressure 
   medicine only, not the medicine to treat heart, kidney problems
   etc)gradually to see if you can use BPR only to keep your blood
   pressure in normal range. For some people, the answer is yes! 
   if not, using both to keep your blood pressure at normal range
   ( you will find you need less medicine because the use of BPR)  

C. Third degree hypertension,
   This instrument can provide help, but never withdraw your medicine.

D. For temporary high blood pressure caused by stress and over work. 
   set to C for 10 munites, only using for 3 days, the blood pressure 
   will drop.

7. Adjust the strength of the eletric stimulation until you feel
comfortable with the stimulation on the ear.
